The goal of K9s and Cats is to ensure the wellbeing, safety and happiness of your pets when your daily commitments and holidays prevent you from spending as much time with them as you'd like.
K9s and Cats is operated by Kelly Russell. A genuinely passionate animal person, Kelly has cared for pets her whole life, having chosen her first pet at age 5. This little orphaned tabby cat lived to the age of 22 ½! Numerous pets followed, including horses, dogs, mice and birds. Kelly then went on to walk and mind friend's and family's dogs and cats when their humans were away.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and spent 8 years working in the corporate world in the fields of IT, Telecommunications and Property Finance.
Her passion for animals and strong belief in the importance of their welfare resulted in her leaving the office behind to spend her days with dogs and cats!
Our goal is to ensure that all pets receive the utmost in care, affection and fun.
Pets expect so little from us, yet they reward us every day with their loyalty, cute and clever antics and unconditional love. They have also been shown to improve the mental health of their human companions and reduce our stress levels.
Seeing big doggy smiles during their outdoor excursions is one of the things that makes Kelly love her job so much!
